This alpine lake was teeming with trout. It probably has had little or no angling pressure for 3 years since the road the gave easy access to it washed out. Caught rainbows and cuthroats on a wee dick nite spoon. 8"-12" range. It took at least 9 hours to reach the lake hiking with a heavy pack. Catch and release, though I could have had an excellent fish fry with the right cooking gear.
