Decided to go try a little bass fishing with some time to kill...Went to Lake Washington, nothing there, used a 5 inch greenish/clear worm with black and green flakes with a little tail on the end and a crawdad lure running deep, nothing...Went to the secret lake, fished the north pond, was screwing around with the texas rigged worm, dropping it around some cover and rocks, and WHAM a huge bass maybe 5 or 6 lbs came out of no where, smashed the worm and took it into some sticks and i couldn't free the line. Worked on it for a good 2mins while the fish was still on the line pulling and jumping and churning up the water, but finally the fish shook the hook and i got my gear back. wow what arush...Wish she would have stayed on. Water wasn't clear, but when it occasionaly is, i remember that spot and it had a spawning bed on it, so maybe its the time of the year for that lake...
