ONE OF THE BEST LAKES FOR TROUT FISHING(in my opinion)My Dad and I got their at about 11:30 AM to our favorite camping spot Koma Kulshan campground. After we set up camp, We decided to do some trout fishing, There is a small boat launch that is a good spot for bottom fishing. Didn't get very many bites(In past years we have been very successful at this spot). So we decided to go on the dike which seperates Depression Lake and Baker Lake. We tried worm and bobber, my dad caught his limit very quickly. I took me about an hour to catch my limit. Next day we tried the boat launch and the dike and didn't get very many bites(No fish caught that day). Next day my brother and I went on the dike and got a few bites using worm and bobber. Then I changed to bottom and used 4 orange-yellow power eggs. As soon as I found a place to set my pole I started to get quite a few bites. Then the next bite I managed to hook a nice 8'' Rainbow Trout. Then we went home from camping very satified. It may seem like the lake isn't that action packed but when they stock the lake (Memorial Day weekend and July 4th Weekend) their is alot of fish action. Last year my dad caught an 18 1/2'' Rainbow Trout and I caught a 19 1/4'' Rainbow Trout. This was the biggest trout I have ever caught. I recommend this lake for adults and kids alike for the trout fishing.
