Me and my buddy had the day off so we decided to go to an Alpine Pond that I know of Up a forest service road. We headed out at about 10:00am we arrived shortly after noon. We pumped up the raft and headed out into the water. I started trolling a wedding ring spinner with no luck, My buddy was using a Blue Fox. No luck.. So i decided to head over to the rocks that were hanging out of the water and tie up and fish from the rocks. Within a few mins we were seeing fish swimming right in front of us. this pond is only maybe 20 feet at the most and u can see to the bottom. anyway. I decided to put on a real large chrome spoon. Within a couple casts BINGO. I got a 2 1/2 3 lb rainbow.. i released it. and went back for more. I only got 1 more of good size, and a couple of itty bitty things.. All in all this pond is a hot spot. I must have seen darn near 50 fish swimming around. I love this place i will be back for sure/
