Went to Black Lake and it was packed so I decided to go to my secret lake to try for trout. My first cast with a worm produced a tiny bluegill that ate the hook. The fish was in need of some serious medical attention when I released him, but much to my surprise he was inhaled by a huge bass! I tried every lure in the box but all they wanted was live bait. I caught a small bass, and on the retrieve I hooked a 2lb bass. I switched to a Banjo minnow and tried my best to lure the huge ones out. BAM! it was on ........after a 5 minute fight I landed this FATTY 5lbs 8oz....What a great fish...I'm not a bass fisherman at all............ but I think I'm hooked now!!!!! All fish released
