Caught this sucker in my back yard today. I do not think there is public access to this lake, but there are perch, bass, bluegill and bullheads.
I was actually trying to catch perch with a jig on a spinner. And bam I catch the biggest largemouth I have ever caught. Talk about getting lucky. I put him back so I can catch him later. It was right before the sun went down. He didn't put up too much of a fight which was good because I was using an ultralight rod with 2lb test line.
