Went out to fish this new lake for me that is close by. The weed cover on the water is incredible and gives only a few places on the water to use the float tube. We did have to power through the weeds a couple time to try and get to open water. In the end I think for a coupe hours and our first time on the water it was successful and am anxious to get back onto this lake to unlock its secrets. I ended up catching two LMB ... 1 at a half a pound and 1 at a pound.

GLad you hooked into a couple. I don't remember it being super weedy but we went way earlier in the year. Usually in late spring early summer. Once it dies down you will see more of the structure and be able to see more into the water and you should have really good succes..
