Fished at Boyer Park, just below Lower Granite Dam.The wind made the fishing difficult. I did not catch anything. Saw lots of fisherman on the shore and in the marina, but no one had much luck. I saw one lady catch a trout, her fishing partner took it off the hook, slammed it on the dock and kicked it in the water. That was odd. I don't think it was a Squaw fish, looked like trout to me. Any way, a kid said he saw a guy catch a bunch of crappie in the marina but i think he was full of it. I saw another kid catch a trout on his first cast which was annoying case i was fishing the same spot and had nothing to show for it. Oh well, i wanted smallmouth anyway. I like fishing above lower granite dam rather than below it. Of course this was my first time at Lake Bryan so i can't make much of a comparison. If i go back it will be on a less windy day, that's for sure.
