Jennings Park (Marysville) Kiwanis kids fishing pond. Once again the Everett Steelhead & Salmon club and the Marysville Kiwanis did a wonderful job on Saturday for their annual kids fishing event. The ponds was stocked with a very nice grade of fish, and the Kiwanis provided a bang-up $3 breakfast. This is an annual event for me and my grand-daughter, and as can be seen by the photos, she had a great time. The limit was 1-fish per person, but we did manage a little 'catch and release" before we had to leave for her 9"30 swim lessons at the YMCA. Both the Kiwansi and the Everett Steelhead and Salmon club do a wonderful job with these events each year, and if you have a young angler in your family, you need to attend one of their events. So on behalf of Lillian and myself, thanks for a great Saturday. And even if I never show up at a meeting, my membership and fee is in the mail.
