This post is for sunday, went out to a good spot and landed 4 smallmouth, the 4th one came at 7pm on my fav plastic! It was 18 inches long and fat. I was trying my new mojo by st croix, and this guy turned beast mode on me and went all over the dock, trying to wrap my line, so then comes the airborne jump, under the boat she goes, back to the dock was her next move, so glad I carry my copilot remote around my neck, I turned away from dock to keep her from doing her thing. All of this and my buddy with the net is like....WHOA!!!! really??? his net skills need refreshing, I told him to extend and sweep. Finally it's over, and she is landed! just shy of 5 lbs even 18 incher. This brings back memories of loosing one just like this, execpt this time the results were way better.
I'm pleased how the mojo rod handled on its first trip.
