Not much info as it is a "secret" lake report :) My best friend of 39 years swore me to secrecy on this lake about 15 years ago, so it's not my idea to keep it a secret, although I can't argue with the logic on this one!

Decided to take my jon boat out for it's first ever fishing trip today! As usual I was the only one on this lake and I hit my first fish on a jig at 6:58am, she went 5.0lbs even. I did not get another bite until noon! It was windy all day so I made my way over to the side the wind was blowing to and started throwing a spinnerbait through the pads.....to give you an idea of how fast it happened I checked the pics on my phone for the time of day the pic was taken:

6:58am = 5.0lber
12:00 = 4.5lber
12:06 = 5.2lber
12:14 = 5.8lber
1:53 = 4.4lber

Crazy!! Not unusual for this lake but more often it's 3-4lbers and much more consistent! I did catch one more 4.2lber but did not take it's pic.... 6 fish 29.1lbs total, average of 4.85lbs per fish and the 5 biggest went 24.9lbs!! I'll take that all day long!

Only 2 more days of vacation left....gotta make em count!
