Had one of those days again where the big ones got away and some caught. Lost at least three other five # one may have been 6, also caught several 1 # and 2 #, what scares me though is not seeing as many smaller bluegill, ad sunfish that use to be abundant, so either it is the cormorants or the big bass, don't really want to get rid of them but think I might have to they have been in there for some years. That 6 # though had him about tired out after a couple strong runs, zig zaging and at least two good leaps , it spit the hook right at my fins in slow motion too, classic spit too it was, if I were in a tournament it would have been a bonus fish. All in all pretty happy how the fishing went, weather was kinda cold and oce the sun did finally come out the bite turned off.
