Mr. Horning, yes we talked about this place before. I was thinking of your lure when I tied these jigs, they were 1/8th oz, and tied big and fluffy to sink slow and act similar to what I imagined that lure would act like, worked good too.

10/16/2015 12:13:00 PMThat's funny Notellum river! OK well I'm just learning salmon fishing. And these forums have been very helpful. I'm sure it will take time to figure out the lingo you fishermen have. But I'm learning. I fished at Snohomish river off the bank at Snohomish town. Too hard to get to river from there. So attempted Stillaguamish river... where I got some bites but caught none so far. I would love some feedback on other streams that are accessible by foot that I can catch trout or salmon. Does anyone know a spot?

10/16/2015 8:25:00 PMWe all know good spots. My best advise is look at google maps, find a stream or river you dont hear much about, check the regs, make sure its open and explore. Explore as many wiggly blue lines on the map as you can and your bound to find good fishing eventually. The farther you get from the crowds the better typically. Also find the river reports section and start perusing through past reports.
