Well, I don't wanna name my favorite lake.. bit decoded to head there before it closes for the year... water temps were 53 around 10.. and 55 56 around noon.. overcast and windy.. had one brownie smack my spinnerbait next to the boat.. right after I started fishing.. then nada. No fish. No trout. Marked tons and tons of fish.. just couldn't get them to bite, ended up taking a jerkbait, going for trout.. cast up by a dock one smacked it couple jerk in.. nice little pound and a halfer, cast back there... another one smokes it.. gets off. See the water swirl from 4 ft down... cast back. Burn it back. Stop it by the boat only to see an easy 7+ chase it up and dive back down. . Nothing like that to get your blood pumping.
