This weekend the wife and I had none of the kids around so we headed out by ourselves . Saturday afternoon she said why don't you go fishing for a while. She chose not to go said she would stay and read. I found a lake open year round and so I went to see what it was like.

Nice quiet lake a few cabins on the shore but pretty much to my self had a few cars running u and down on the road. The weather was a Blustery the wind was blowing but not awfully cold. I rigged up a rod with some of the Walmart super bait in the Styrofoam cup. Hurled it out and waited.

Pretty much nothing for about an hour then I had a hit!!! Swing and a miss. Guess that's why they call it fishin. Reloaded and put it back in the same area and got ready again.

Maybe 20 minutes later I got another bite. This time it stuck. I had a Cutt on the lawn. Reloaded and pretty much same place and had another. It took about 30 minutes to put all 5 fish on the lawn

Looking forward to giving it another try on return trip.
