Back at the launch this morning at 0730.
Same setup as before.
The trout are just playing with the bobber setup. No take downs right away.
Nothing on the pink Gulp eggs on the sinker rig.
Switch to green Gulp eggs and change out the worm on the bobber.
Bobber is first to go.. nice little 12" bow hooked in the lip. Free to go.
Bobber again.. hooked in the lip. Same fish?? Free to go.
Sinker rod 12" bow hooked in the side of the mouth. Free to go.
Big hit on the sinker rod. Set the hook but the line is stuck under something. I can reel in only to a point and then it stops. Open the bail and the fish peels line off. Reel back in and it stops.
Finally pull hard enough the line breaks at the hook. Free to go.
Nothing for the next 1/2 hour except the Game Warden checking licenses.
All good.
Oh Ya. It didn't rain the entire morning.
Day off tomorrow might hit it again on Tuesday to see how it fishes in the nice weather!!!
