Some of the family went to Ilwaco for Sturgeon on the Columbia around the Astoria Bridge - Unfortunately I couldn't make it but here is the report from my cousin, sounds like I missed a good day on the water!

"We missed you two on Saturday! Had a great time sturgeon fishing! Dan caught the monster ...never landed it because the captain cut the line....way too big. Then he landed a 58 1/2 incher ...plus another keeper and about 4 others. Gabe caught 4 fish...one keeper, Rosie caught 3 with one keeper, Wendy caught 5 .....one keeper just shy of 50 inches and one at 63 inches. I caught two little ones.."
