yeah carp are so fun
he took about 4 min to get in, he was very healthy

5/22/2008 3:21:00 PMhave you tried Beacon Rock State park? There is a the dock there and along the shoreline I was catching a smallmouth almost every cast. I caught 1 that was over 20 inches....most are about pound or so, but the action is awesome.....

5/22/2008 3:57:00 PMi fish ultra-light though...you will get snagged in the rocks quite a bit. so bring lots of hooks...use small size 12 hooks -little weight - and a fat crawler....surprised you haven't tried it.....I was the only one catching them though- everyone else was fishing for sturgeon-

5/23/2008 9:28:00 AMhow high is the water now? use a jig and tip it with a small piece of worm and work it along the bottom.....when does the shad fishing really start to smoke down there?

5/23/2008 3:36:00 PMnever fished for sturgeon, but have caught lots of carp at moses lake......go try beacon rock soon. i was going to head down for the weekend and see whats up...
