there is a small park off of highway 14 after you get into camas, there is a stop light and on your right hand side there is a very small gravel parking lot with a sign that says steamboat landing park. there is a nice bathroom building in the parking lot. the "park" is just a dock that leads out into the river about 50 feet, then cuts east for another 100-200ft of fishable dock. its actually a very nice spot to catch all of the rivers fish species.

you follow highway 14 until you go past the paper mill, then the next street light past the ford dealership (i think) is the steamboat landing park.

5/24/2008 8:44:00 PMDillpepsi123 - that is an awesome question, I was just about to ask it myself xD. I too have been to the spot Max is talking about, Its not to Washougal but its really close. It has a super small parking lot, no more than about 12 or so can fit. You can count on a lot of people to be there when the Shad run through thick.
