3/22/2009 1:16:00 PMTheres one other possibility that may of meant poor fishing. My Astro moon tables rated the last few days in the teens on a scale from 1 to 100. We are entering a decent lunar stretch during the following week. Trout don't seem to be affected by the moon as much as warm water species, at least by what I've found. Tueday, March 24th is rated a 49 and Thursday the 26th is a 72. If conditions continue to be warm and remain stable, it should be good all the way thru the first week of April. Chronamids and other aquatic insect fish food sources are affected by the moon cycles as well as water temps, this also includes crawfish activity. My best fishing is always centered three days before both the New Moon and Full Moon phases. The Jigmiester
