Hello there Bass guys and all anglers .. Well i have experienced LK RooseVelt for the very first time this past weekend ..Our Club put on a two day tourney there for Saturday and Sunday ... The lake was nothing like i have ever experienced before , the water dept here is extremely deep .. If you can imagine fishing 10 yards from shore and still sitting in 60 ft of water and driving over areas that were over 750 ft and not to mention that the Lake was about 75 ft down from pool . As for the lay out of the lake itself , the best way i can describe it is too say think about the "grand canyon" lol . We mainly fished Ledges and points thought out both days , this place is "ALL ROCK" .. The bite was on ,however from talking to other club members it was no were near what the lake is capable of once it at full pool .. On day one i ended with 3 keeper , biggest one one was 2.7 ..One Sunday we I end up with the same results 3 keeper as well . I mainly fished with Football heads and cranks and got one on my worm .. The fish all here sitting very close to shore an it was obvious that they were displaced due to the lake being down so far , that's really the only thing that had effected the bite . This lake is a numbers lake for sure , the biggest fish to the scales was a 4 .2 ..I really enjoy myself and would like to thanks a fine folks @ Coulee Dam Hotel for have our room prepared and convent parking for the boat and last I would like to thank the fine staff @ Coulee PlayLand Marine and tackle , I really needed those Jigs for day two and they had plenty . Sorry didn't take any pics from my camera , however they are some posted on our club Sites .. Puyallup HawgHunters ...BBD
