Fished (for the first time) the mouth of the SPokane River and areas down to Seven Bays. Trolled hot'n'tots and found lots of Rainbows just north of the Spokane arm in 20-45 feet depth. They are out in the deep water, not in shallow. I REALLY wanted Walleye, though, and only caught a couple that were small. Found out all about the huge rock that's under the bridge, almost wiped out a couple of cannonballs on it....
I wouldn't mind if somebody could tell me more about where to get the eyes' on this lake. I marked a lot of fish piled up on a couple of rises in the river, but out in the lake marked little. Rainbows came @ 1.8 MPH, colors were green/chrome and had better luck when the sun was bright.
I want to go back but like I said I really want to catch Walleye, (for the eating). Somebody give me a clue, please!
