Put in at Porcupine bay around 0800 and ran up the arm to marker five.Good day, water at 70 degrees on the surface.Caught at least 20 walleyes and eight keepers all 16" to 20" biggest 20".Used a green glow hook and 18" leader on the bottom in about 40 feet of water.Caught the biggest eye this way. But my wife was killing them on a brass double whammy with a 6" leader. She out fished me real good today and caught the majority of the keepers.Did hooked into two real nice 4lb smallies but let them go.Lots of walleye in the 12" to 14" range but I was looking for the big one and my wife was after the fish fry.We were able to set anchor in the current and the fishing was on. Caught most within the first two hours and started picking them up every 30min or so.Been up two this area serveral times with a lot of anglers showing very little respect for your space trying to get on top of your bite.Sure is nice to catch a great fish when some jerk is trying to run over your spot.
