Fished the Hanford Reach september 15-17. We were marking a ton of fish and saw kings jumping everywhere you looked. Had alot of action back trolling herring on the downriggers 4-7' off the bottom in the 24-30' slot. Mainly fished coyote rapids down to the power lines. Monday I hooked up on a solid 50 lb. king with a chrome/orange k15 wrapped with sardine only to have the hooks fly out of his face 3' from the net! Not a great way to start the week off! After three days of fishing between 3 of us we only managed to get 4 fish to the boat. 3 kings - 30# 12# 8# and one 48" sturgeon which was released. The picture is of my uncle with the largest king we got to the boat. Can't wait til next year!
