I'll actually report on my last three outings. Last Thursday, the 22nd, I put in at Fort Spokane at 7am. Fished with Muddler and worm at 25-35ft. Limited on 12-14" bows in two hours. On Sunday the 25th, I left Fort Spokane at 1 pm, with muddler and worm. Had 3 bows in the boat before I left the mouth of the Spokane, so decided to fish 1 pole for Kokanee and the other for trout on the lake. Caught two Koke's and had 3 more trout (kept 1) by 3:30 and headed in. Both days I had at least as many more hits as I had fish.
Today, put in at 7:30. I decided to avoid the net pen trout in the confluence, and headed for the main stem. Fished with muddler minnow and worm on one pole, and perch fly on the other at 25-35' Well, I caught one nice 14" on the muddler, otherwise it was quiet. The perch fly was the hot one of the day. 2 15"ers, an 19" 2.5lb'r, and a 21" 3.5lb'r. Counted eight fish on that I didn't get to the boat. Great Day.
