The Palmer crew was nice enough to go to Rufus with us today. Andy skipped the lower end and fought rough water up the lake to the lower net pens. They trolled flies with good success catching and releasing fourteen in a couple of hours work. The bite slowed down so they switched to jigs under floats baited good old Pautzke Balls of Fire to get some fish for the barbecue. Most fish were 2 to 4 pound floy tagged triploids. The big fish was 6 pounds. The water on Rufus is strange. It was very rough going up, but dead calm at the pens. Kind of the opposite of what we experienced yesterday. Tight Lines Anton
