Camping out at Porcupine bay and got some fishing done with th boys. We caught bass and walleye. One nice walley and one nice fat bass that one of the boys hooked! He had to land it and every time his dad got the net near the fish his pole tip would come down and the bass would take off. I was laughing so hard but it was really a great moment to share! Orange and Red crappy Jigs just bouncing off the bottom off the cliffs was working with a bit of worm on the end. I was also catching walley with a big white weedless crank bait. In the flats we would just throw it across the weedbed and bring it across pretty fast till the edge and then let it drop down. Got a lot of action. Nothing of size but when you are fishing with 9 year olds the action is more important than the size. Great couple of days with great friends.
