Do to a mechanical problem with my boat.My fishing excursion started a little late today.Put in on the Washington side above McNary dam.The fish were down deep so I set up a downrigger with a spinner and cruised the Wa side for a couple of hours.Nada! So I then flew across to the Oregon side in front of the grain elevators and within 15 minutes it was fish on,but only for about 30 seconds.I had a couple of other bumps through out the day.Guess I just bagged the skunk today.I tried fishing a deep diving lighted plug after the sun set but I decided to hang it up around 9pm because stupid me dropped his flashlight in the water. If I did catch a fish it would be hard to see if it was clipped or not without a light source.Next time bring backup.Oh well still a real nice day on the water.
