Then I started baiting my dad's hook (like I would do for a kid I joked him), he started catching fish. Found out he took a shower that morning and used soap. Me being the lazy bum I am hadn't showered, that's the only thing we could come up with that was different. We all caught fish once we started doing that. And don't worry guys, if you see me around town chances are that I have showered. At the boat ramp, different story. : )

12/25/2010 7:18:00 AMdbrowning makes a good point, scent control. I never, ever, touch gear going into the water before I spray my hands liberally with the same scent I use on my gear. Works great for me. :-)

12/25/2010 10:18:00 AMYeah, scent control. That's exactly what I figured it was. I did have a couple of good strikes and lost some bait, but none on shore. We all still had a great time!
