Hit up Lincoln at about 9am. Fished 'till 3pm. Landed 3 bows 1.5, 1.7, 2lbs from 'bout 11 'till 1. We were using Berkely pink roe. Bite was slow. Local told me that in that area it slowed way down from where it was a week ago. Said further west just around the NNW curve from Lincoln had been doing well. I'm just guessing here, but I assumed it might be from the really low water level. Still, a beautiful day with a little wind at the end. Not too bad for the first time out this year. BTW, talked to a guy who said Porcipine Bay was partially frozen over. He came to Lincoln to shore fish.

What really low water level? If you think its low now just wait about a month

Yep, yesterday's water level was 1279.80, full pool is 1290' so that's a long ways from being really low. Wait til it drops to the 1250' range or lower. Lowest I've ever seen was around 1229' a couple years ago when Seven Bays and Spring Canyon were the only launches still open, that was REALLY low. :-o

At least you caught some fish, the weather was nice and wind didn't blow you off the shore. :-)
