launched at keller ferry around 10 am. Ran across to the deadline in the sanpoil. This spot has always produced fish. fished 6 1/2 hrs for 8 fish in the boat. had another 8 or so hits that didn't stick. trolled apex's (pink was hot then red). The watermelon had some hits but only 1 fish in the boat on it. tipped the apex with some gulp nightcrawler. had 15 lb mono, cowbells, and 1 1/4 oz lead. had about 110-145 line out. Figured we were down about 15-18 ft. it seemed as if the pole that was about 20 ft further back put most fish in the boat (swapped who was futher back between poles). No hits on a rapala. It was consistent but no real hot and heavy bite. Beautiful day to be on the lake. Biggest fish was 3 1/2 lbs, 1- 2 1/2 lb, and the rest were the standard 15-17 inch fish.
