Hit the Rock Creek area of the Columbia for smallmouth yesterday, Found fish on the flats in 10-12 ft of water staging for the spawn. Trolled plugs and hooked about 15 for about 2 hrs of fishing.
Gold Shadrap was the hot plug of the day. Mostly males in the 13-15" range. Water temp was 54-55 deg. The water is stained from all the runoff but fishable, about 3' visability. The weather was unsettled, wind, sun, then rain. Should only get better if the weather stabilizes.
