6/24/2011 6:37:00 AMHey Malottguy, I'm stuck on call for the rest of the month. I now have the time to smoke the fish we didn't catch.LOL My next outing may be for Bass & or Walleye. I know we didn't get skunked but, for as good as everybody else has been doing it feels like it.

6/24/2011 12:13:00 PMWhen I fished RW earlier in the week there was certainly a big difference between artificial lures and the bait. When I was casting spinners I was catching a small number of smaller fish. Once I switched to going deep with powerbait it was basically lights-out ridiculous. Can't c&r that way (they swallow the hook about 90% of the time) but you'll get fish almost instantly.

6/24/2011 8:51:00 PMBut the evenings sure are nice on Rufus Woods. Glad to hear you were out there terrorizing the fish AFK. I need to try to catch some on the fly rod. I got a nice (entry level discontinued model) 8wt Sage Last winter that I need to get a hog on. Maybe Someday. LOL
