What a tough day on Roosevelt. Launched out of Ft Spokane with my buddies Jay and Jim. We were on Jims Crestliner and headed down river to Hawk Creek. Worked the area near the buoys very thoroughly and ended up with 3 Walleyes and 4 Burbot. All Burbot were very small. The walleyes were 2 about 17-18" and one about 15". Also tryed across from 7 bays, Casino Flats, Outhouse Flats, Neighborly, and Wilamont. No luck at any of them, not even a bite. We didn't mark any fish all day long, not even any trout suspended. Too bad rally because overall the day was really nice. The launch was in good shape with no problems launching or recovering. We did catch two of the Walleyes on blade baits. I had one hit about 9am and didn't get another till I caught the last fish of the day, one of the Walleyes, at about 3pm. Shouldn't be this tough. Another buddy of mine Glenn went out of Porcupine on Sunday. They caught 14 Burbot between the bay and buoy 5. No walleyes.
