I launched boat at Spring Canyon Friday and Saturday and run up the lake searching for kokanee and trout. It definitley was slower than prior years that I have fished there. I did not get any Kokanee but picked up 4 nice rainbow, 1 of which was a native. The largest was 2.75 lbs. I was trolling with a dodger and tryed different lures and got all rainbow at 10'. The fish checker at Spring Canyon said it has been very slow and she has not seen many Kokanee or trout caught in the past few weeks. I did not mark a lot of fish, but did mark some deep suspended in a 100'+ of water. I am not sure if they were kokanee or not, and why they were so deep.
All in all it was a good time and hope it picks up in couple of months when I try again.

Thanks for the report. I launched at spring Canyon Sat. and ran all the way up to Hawk Creek looking for fish, only caught 1 18' rainbow. Then when I pulled out a guy came in that had been fishing right by the dam with a beautiful stringer of 5 fish, largest 21" smallest 18". Should have stayed right there!
