We fished the Spokane Arm this past weekend Friday, Sat and Sunday. Fishing Friday was awesome with all 3 of limiting in about 5 hours hours with 2 fish in the 21-22 inch range and all the others were 15"-17" a total of 33 fish caught plus one very nice Rainbow at about 4lbs on Friday. We were jigging in 20ft-40ft of water on transition zones and sand flats. Sat we had clients and limited them in 6 hours with only fish in the 13"-16" range in the same type of water as friday with a total of 29 fish caught. Our client also caught one nice burbot at approx 26" Sunday with the water coming up fast over 3 ft in a couple days and fishing for bigger a total bust, fishing was way slower to say the least. 3 of us fished on Sunday with a total of 18 fish in 5 hours and the biggest was only 14" most of them in the 12"-13" range. The fish are already starting to spread out unfortunetly with the water coming up so fast. The lure of choice was a 3/8 and 1/4 oz jig with a Jerry's Lure Design jig bodies in 5". Color choices were black, brown, chartreuse, and red. We fished anywhere from Porcupine Bay to just below Little Falls about a half mile. Weather was cloudy, rainy and sunny at times throughout the weekend. Water temps were 57-59 degrees. Good fishing everyone... If anyone is interested in a trip down there give a call or shoot me an email. Craig 509-999-0717 or www.yjguideservice.com

Saw you guys on Friday as I pulled my Crestliner through the campground. We had about the same results, 50 plus fish between 3 of us and all in the 14-17in range. We caught them from 8-50ft, half on jigs and half on blade baits. Started at buoy 5 and worked all the way back down to Porcupine Bay. Saw one guy not paying attention and it cost him, he hit some rocks in shallow water just below buoy 5. I will be back out at the end of the week looking for some bigger fish.

That water up past buoy was only 2.5ft deep and very white knuckle driving lol.. I tried blades and didnt have much luck on them this trip almost all were on jigs, did get a few bottom bouncing. I think finding the bigger ones might be tough this week with the cold front and rainy weather coming and the amount their bumping the water up on us...Good luck fishing

Hi...yeah that was me that got bunked on a rockpile yesterday east of Buoy 5. Actually I was paying quite a bit of attention, trying to anyway...watching the depthfinder intently as a went along slowly. Unfourtunately the bottom came up really quick my reaction time wasnt quite fast enough. It bent up one blade pretty good but she was able to get us back to porcupine without incident.. Didnt shut down our fishing trip, though, We bottom bounced just west of bouy 5 for about an hour or so and got 8 in the boat, one about 3-4 pounds. Not too bad. Looking forward to getting back out next week. Which crestliner were you? The one beached on the south bank? Thats the only boat I remember seeing when the were using my boat as a rock grinder.

I was working the river channel about a hundred yards and to the left behind you. Glad the damage was minimal. Between the shallow water and all of the flotsum and jetsum this time of year can be very tricky. Night fishing is near suicidal.
