Fished the merry go round below Wanapum dam on Thursday morning and targeted sockeye for the first time. No downriggers but we did manage to boat 3 and lost 3 using bare hooks on a 16" leader behind a one O dodger. The water was high and it was crowded and you really have to pay attention in that circus. We did learn some stuff watching the people who were hauling them in unfortunately the stuff they were using we didn't have any with us so next time we'll be better prepared.
