Launched out of and fished the China Bend area on Sunday. Went up river and found a couple of nice back eddies. My buddy Glenn had lots of luck using a walking sinker and night crawler setup. We took another buddies son out with us. It was Andrews first time Walleye fishing and he did well, easily picked up on how to jig successfully and to use a live bait rig as well. I my did best when using a Norisada blade bait in trout color. Total tally for the day was around 100 Walleyes, most were 12-14" dinks. No particular color for the jigs, as long as it had a chunk of night crawler on it they would bite. We kept our limit, 4 that were between 18-20" the rest were just eaters at 15-16". Got rained on for about 4 hours but at least it was warm with no wind. Nothing worth taking a photo of. The Bald Eagles in that area watch the boats and won't hesitate to grab a fish thats 30' from your boat. They sit in the trees and sqauk at you till you feed them. We gave one a nice squawfish to take back to its nest. That eagle saw us throw it back in the water, the sqauw may have had a slight concussion at this point, and lauched towards are boat before the fish hit the water.
