Hit the Columbia at Willow Grove boat launch at 10am to fish the outgoing tide. Several boats were already pulling out from fishing the incoming tide that morning. Many were showing off fish, so we were really excited that the bite was on and ready to get out there. Set up near Weyerhaeuser mill in the hog line and got our alvins in the water.

And then we waited.

And waited.

And waited.

We threw all color combos we could think of and still nothing. 6 boats in the hog line and only one fish caught for 20+ poles all day. Hog line boats all pulled out around 5pm with not much to show for it.

Water cooler gossip indicates that the big catch day was Saturday and we just missed it.

We'll try again this weekend.
