Left Spokane at 6:00 AM roads were OK with some slick spots. Temp was 22 degrees. Headed North out of Davenport and the temp dropped to 17 degrees brrr....... Just as we were coming down the hill to Fort Spokane the road cleared out and the temp rose to 27 degrees! Amazing. Launched at Fort Spokane, clear dry ramp..Yes.
Started fishing just beyond the Marina on the south side. Caught first fish about 8:30. Three colors leaded line with Frisky Jenny Trick Er Treat. Finished out the day with two limits of beautiful chunky rainbows. Largest was 4# 11 oz 21" long.
Sun came out and it was warm inside the cozy top with the heater going! Great to be out catching fish in the winter.
