This report is for both Friday and Saturday:

Friday: Arrived at porcupine right before sunrise and immediately noticed the left tire on my buddy Glenn's trailer had a big bulge in it. As we were contemplating what to do it blew. Sounded like a gunshot, luckily he has a spare. We fished the morning and around noon decided to change the tire. Scraped up enough tools to swap them out. (my truck his boat) Now on to the fishing. It was hot and heavy for about two hours. Any color jig and a night crawler was all you needed. We had the spot all to ourselves for about three hours. Total catch was over 50 Walleyes with the largest about 22in and 4 lbs.

Saturday: We were out on the water before sun up. Temp was about 20 deg and I think my hands still haven't thawed out. The catching was much slower and the best color was a red jig head with a pumpkin/chartreuse grub body. Lots of little worm stealers but we still managed over 35 Walleyes for the trip.

Water temp: 42 deg
Depth: 20'-40'
Bigger fish were shallower, the deeper we tried the smaller they got. Just dragged jigs both days with a very small lift.
