19 - Spokane Confluence to Lake Roosevelt North End

Species: Walleye

We were at a Men's retreat in Kettle Falls on lake Roosevelt from May 30th to June 2nd. We had six or seven boats with two to three guys each out fishing for walleye each day. The bite was really off and no large fish were caught by the group. We bottom bounced, jigged and used every method available to entice the walleye but they just wouldn't cooperate. Maybe it was the weather that was very unsettled.
Three of us stayed to fish Monday and Tuesday. We worked hard all day Monday and managed 18 for the day 18" being the largest but most were small 14-15" fish. Fished Tuesday till noon and got 21 of the same size bottom bouncing with worm and spinners in green in 50 to 60 ' of water.....great eats! - Alan
