Camped at Keller Ferry and fished 3 days in a row. Swawilla has slowed down for big Kok's but small one's still there. 120' of water 80 to 90' deep. Hoochies and apex working, of coarse pink is the color tipped with shoe peg corn. Small one's are running from 10" to 16". Limited each day with only 3 in the 3 to 4 lb range. Not sure where the bigger ones went. Tried mouth of San Poil and Goat Farm with same luck.

I spent 3 mornings trolling Swawilla last week and didn't get one. We were fishing at 70' with an apex. Do you just put a small amount of corn on the hooks? They are sure nice fish when you do get one. Nice to hear that someone was doing good.

You mark a lot of fish in the 40 to 70 range but they are all net pen bows. I put 3 kernels of corn on each hook and spray the corn with WD 40. Once you find the deep fish go there and keep it in front of them. I am raising and lowering the down rigger all the time and that could be triggering them to hit. I pay no attention to the fish above 80 feet. I just tried it up river today and didn't get anything but net pen bows. So not sure where the big ones are????
