8/4/2013 6:13:00 AMI spent 3 mornings trolling Swawilla last week and didn't get one. We were fishing at 70' with an apex. Do you just put a small amount of corn on the hooks? They are sure nice fish when you do get one. Nice to hear that someone was doing good.

8/4/2013 3:47:00 PMYou mark a lot of fish in the 40 to 70 range but they are all net pen bows. I put 3 kernels of corn on each hook and spray the corn with WD 40. Once you find the deep fish go there and keep it in front of them. I am raising and lowering the down rigger all the time and that could be triggering them to hit. I pay no attention to the fish above 80 feet. I just tried it up river today and didn't get anything but net pen bows. So not sure where the big ones are????
