Fished the Columbia River for kings near Longview last two days. River is dead. Over 15,000 kings gillnetted this week in lower Columbia (above bouy 10). Saw few fish caught yesterday and none today. Fished with folks that were limiting their boat last week. Six rods for two days had one hit plunking wobblers from boat. Nets going back in Sunday....... Will try again once there is a break in the netting. Too bad the fishing had been very good.
