Went out after walleye this morning before the Seahawks played. We targeted fish from 35-50 feet using a Northland Fireball jig with a stinger hook. My buddy used live bait, and I used Gulp worms. They performed about the same today. I think we boated between 8-10 fish, keeping 5 that were in the 16-20" range and males.

With the limit the way it is, please try to put back the bigger females and only take what you need. It would be a shame to have such an amazing walleye fishery destroyed.

We had a really good time and there were only 3 other trucks at the launch...people probably started early today. Good luck everyone.

it is sad from a Walleye fishermans perspective, but I think the reason they made the Limit the way it is was to ultimately destroy the walleye fishery. I do the same as you, and try to harvest the males, and release the females.
