Launched out of Spring Canyon in search of kokanee and rainbow's, one of any as parking lot was full by 8 am. Ran typical kok gear all day and limited on trout before noon with 4 people on the boat releasing wild ones. We had at least 1 kok on (they go airborne and run right at ya) but none made it to the live well. Still, just a great day with lots of action on the rods, doubles, triples....as well as spending time with my brother in law, nephew and a friend who also happens to be a newly hired fish bio for FDR. Great to see the creel clerk at the launch, she was having a busy day! Clerk reported creeling 3 kokes for the day, lots if not all angler's appear to be limiting on rbt. I have a hunch the guy I seen at the launch with the hooked on toy's and dipping sauce decal's boated a kok or two, why else would a Wenatchee angler be at FDR and not Chelan.......
