Fished all day Friday with my dad. Dad was a little nervous that the brakes would go out on the launch. We had to put in at Seven Bays as it was the only launch available. We only manged 4 fish total. Two eyes with the largest just over 20 inches and two nice bows. Only 5 rigs in the parking lot. We fished the point near Two Rivers where the arm enters the Columbia. Fished from 10 FOW to 40 FOW with all fish caught in the 25 foot range. It was great to test out the new Humingbird 899. It marked a ton of fish. Calm early and then a front came in around 1:30. Your bait had to be moving to catch fish. Used 3/8 oz orange or green jigs with chartreuse tails tipped with crawlers. Ran up the arm a few miles only to catch one bow. Water level as low as I have ever seen 1232.60. Not sure why there were not more fisherman out on such a beautiful day. Looking forward to get back out soon. Tight lines.
