This report is not about catching fish but Crawdads. During our annual family get together up the Spokane Arm one of the great treats for the big Saturday dinner is Crawdads or Crayfish. Three days before the dinner we all collected 400 plus, for some great fun and eating.

May I ask what do you use for bait? Thanks , Andy

afk--- for bait we use mostly bass and walleye carcasses and some chicken livers which we stuff in nylon stockings so they don't float away. In past years we have also used hot dogs with some sucess, but not as good as fish and livers. My son in law supplys me each year with Elk liver so I'm going to give it a try next summer. I have come to not like liver anymore so that could be a good way to use it up. Ron

Just punch a hole in a can of cat food. I will trade you for the elk liver.

Hey Ron, I've pretty much used carcasses in the past but, with mixed results. I think I'll try both canned cat food and liver! I do like those mini lobster! Thanks Ron and bullpine.
