Finally found the correct location. Sorry my previous post was FULL of typos - won't happen again.
Made one pass at the confluence with no success. Drove up to Split Rock, dropped in a muddler minnow and a purple and green fly, 200 feet back, five colors Lead line. About 11:00 AM, bite turned on and within 30 minutes had four fish in the boat. The bite turned off just as quickly. Cloudy day, light and variable winds, but awesome day to fish. Did not get the numbers that some posters have caught, but for me and my boat it was a great day. The river has dropped about 5 feet in the last week, that may be one of the reasons the bite has not been as good as in weeks past. The Ft Spokane ramp was a little slick, but probably not as slick as in the days to come in with the ice.
To summarize:
Leadline, 200-220 feed back
Mother minnow, 4/0 hook with number eight teaser
Purple and black Jenny fly, 4/0 with 4/0 teaser
Trolling speed, 2.1-2.4
Water temperature-50.5
Wind-light and variable
Overcast conditions-temperature 35 to 37°
Water temperature-51°
Great day to be fishing
