Greetings from Captain Dave. Here's a look back at last year's fantastic Brewster Sockeye Fishing. Time to be planning for another great year!

A rare gap in the guiding schedule allowed me to invite my folks and nephews to experience Brewster sockeye fishing at its finest. The fishing was spectacular as all of us got our limit for the day, despite the falling ashes from the fire. The fishes seemed to be a little deeper than normal. We fished with 4 oz. cannon ball weights at about 20 ft. deep, trolling about 1.4 mph. Smile blade spinners seemed to do the trick again tipped with a pink dyed shrimp. Boated our 30 sockeye for the day and also 3 wild kings that we released. I love this fishery as it regularly seems to provide a lot of action for those that have spent the time to figure it out. It makes it a fun place to guide as I regularly get to show my guests a good time.
